A high-end Mediterranean modern inspired custom home in The Hills designed to maximise the site’s natural outlook while delivering a refined and timeless family residence. The brief focused on creating warm, textural living spaces through expansive open-plan design, seamless indoor-outdoor integration, premium finishes, and resort-style entertaining areas including a pool.

The Challenges

The project involved complex architectural detailing, extensive glazing and strict compliance requirements including BASIX, bushfire, stormwater and site-specific planning controls. Construction was further challenged by site conditions, tight tolerances across the architectural facade elements, and ongoing material and labour disruptions throughout the COVID period, requiring careful coordination and project management to maintain programme and quality outcomes.
